Bar Harbor Book Festival September 12-13
The fabulous Carrie Jones, author of Need and Love (And Other Uses for Duct Tape), has assembled a wonderful book festival in Bar Harbor Maine. I’m going to be there, and I’m going to encourage any one else in the area to come. Leaf peeping won’t be at full peak, but Bar Harbor will be gorgeous nevertheless..and you can meet your favorite authors and hear them read or talk about the good, bad, and absurd life of a writer.
I love a good book festival (Portland and Bangor both do a fine job). But I love Bar Harbor even more. DH and I spent our last anniversary there, at the Bar Harbor Inn. Here’s a picture to show you why you just might want to come — and bring a camera (Full Disclosure: DH is the photographer in our family).
